Everyone has, at least once, ended up in a situation where you have finally found a relevant website that can provide you with much-needed information and for some reason, either by mistake or because you are in a hurry, you closed that tab. Such occasions may create great frustrations, but luckily there is a way out or better say, a few of them.
How to Restore Tabs on Chrome
- One of the easiest and most common ways to restore your tabs in Google Chrome is by right-clicking on the top part of your browser, next to the tabs section.
- After that, in a newly opened menu, you need to select “Reopen closed tab” or simply use the command Ctrl + Shift + T that will do the same job and reopen your recently closed tabs.
- On the other hand, if you are looking for some older opened tabs, you can turn to your browser history and reopen it from there. In other words, you need to go to “Customize and control Google Chrome”
and select “History”.
- In a newly opened menu, once again, choose “History”, and you will have all your past browsing locations in one place.
- Scroll down, until you get to the web address you want to restore double-click on it, and that is it.
- Your long-gone tab is now reopened.
